*Dr. John Sperling believed that lifelong employment with a single employer would be replaced by lifelong learning and employment with a variety of employers. There’s nothing wrong with lifelong employment with a single employer. There is a sense of comfort that goes along with this. As I type this, I’ve been a public school teacher in Central Florida for the past 24 ½ years. I’m just now realizing that I need to get out of my comfort zone if I ever want to do what I really love in life with enough money to thrive while doing it. This is why I keep typing.
