Stability. Security. The peace of mind that comes from being able to get a decent job and provide for your family, in a country that you feel has a good future ahead of it and that treats people fairly. In a nutshell, that is what people in Britain want – and what the Government I lead is dedicated to building.

*As you continue with 365DOLF, this is what you are looking for in yourself. Hopefully you’ve found many of these things already. Stability. Security. Peace of mind. Decent job (looking for a better one). Providing for your family.

Annika Sorenstam 1970

One of the first fundamentals in fitness and in golf is strengthening the core.  The core connects and stabilizes the upper and lower parts of the body. It is important throughout the swing to
“stay connected” and simply rotate your core. Through core strength training
and conditioning I was able to hit the ball longer with a smooth,
easy swing. I was also able to stay fit, strong, and competitive throughout my golfing career.

Ten years after stepping away from the LPGA Tour, Sorenstam’s golf cart is a school bus and her favorite foursome is her family. Still, the player who won 10 majors, shot a 59, and competed in a men’s tournament remains on a first-name basis with the sport—and at peace with her decision to leave competitive golf behind.

*Have your trainer put you through a core strengthening workout. Then play a round of golf.

Aimee Semple McPherson 1890

Upon opening the doors of Angelus Temple in Los Angeles in 1923, Sister Aimee developed an extensive social ministry, feeding more than 1.5 million people during the Great Depression. She summarized her message into four major points, which she called “the Foursquare Gospel”: Jesus is the Savior, Jesus is the Healer, Jesus is the Baptizer with the Holy Spirit, and Jesus is the Soon-Coming King. She founded the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, also known as The Foursquare Church, which continues to spread the Foursquare Gospel throughout the world to this day.

Find Your Local Food Bank

The Feeding America nationwide network of food banks secures and distributes 4.3 billion meals each year through food pantries and meal programs throughout the United States and leads the nation to engage in the fight against hunger. Contact your local community food bank to find food or click here to read about public assistance programs.

*Help feed the hungry today. Go and help out. You’ve donated enough money, donate some of your time today at your local food bank. Check out the Foursquare Gospel as well. It may be what you’ve been looking for in a church.

Peterman’s story of ambition and survival didn’t end when the movers took away the company.  He felt his vision was valid, even if his management of the company was not.

“I felt that I understood the mistakes and took ownership of the mistakes that were made. So, I figured I could do it again.”

How a ‘Seinfeld’ Joke Became a Reality

Actor John O’Hurley explains how he went from playing J. Peterman to working for J. Peterman – and marketing an Urban Sombrero

*If you’ve failed at business before but understand the mistakes that you made, there is no better teacher for starting a new business.

John Lennon 1940

“If you can imagine a world of peace, if you can imagine a world with no denominations of religion – not without religion, whatever religion is – but without this divisive ‘My god is bigger than your god’ business…. Then, if you can imagine the possibility, then it can be true.”

Imagine’ evokes a Utopian world in which our heightened consciousness would make everything that oppresses us wither away,

*Lay in bed and listen to John Lennon for as long as you can today. Imagine.

Bella Hadid 1996

“My go-to is an egg sandwich on a plain bagel. One time I wanted to be healthy and got a gluten-free bagel, but I promise you, they suck.”

“We break for lunch around 1 p.m. I’ll usually have salmon or chicken and veggies,”

I order a lot of green juices and keep them around on set. I have ginger shots in a cooler, and I’ll drink one if I’m feeling low.

“Westville is the restaurant I always order from. The sautéed kale is my favourite.”

*Eat like Bella Hadid – all day today. If you don’t live in NYC and can’t make it to Westville, try Bobby Flay’s recipe for sautéed kale.
