All Nowitzki needs is a plain, old bicycle.

*Go for a nice leisurely bike ride today. Then play some basketball and dominate like Dirk.

MONEY

Macklemore 1983

“Make the money. Don’t let the money make you. Change the game. Don’t let the game change you.”

FOOD

Zoe Saldana 1978

“I don’t believe in cheat days because I don’t believe in diets. I try not to deprive my body of anything, because the moment I have just salads and protein for a few days, I crave carbs. But when I eat everything in balance, I think less about food and more about everything else. It’s about eating to live, not living to eat.”

Breakfast: Saldana enjoys starting the day with mashed avocados and sliced tomatoes on toast []

Work Out []

Lunch: After a workout, she likes a combination of grilled honey ginger chicken, quinoa, and zucchini []

Dinner: She’s Obsessed with Her Mom’s Potato and Shrimp Salad []

Late night snack: “Popcorn caters to all of my senses before I go to bed” []

*Eat like Zoe all day.

SNUB – Paula Abdul 1962

Published by

Travis Jones

I was born in Northwestern Pennsylvania and lived in a trailer park. I was raised by very conservative and religious (Wesleyan Methodist) parents. By some miracle I graduated college and moved to Florida. I have been a public school teacher since 1995. I have 7 years until I can retire. I was married in 1999 and divorced in 2001. I remarried in 2017 to Kate - 21 years my junior. Some of my life experiences as a 46-year-old, white American male, will come through in my writing, but the majority of this daily journey will be dedicated to improving myself, and hopefully you as well.
