Kristin Stewart 1990

“Success is always something completely different to people. I feel like I’ve succeeded, if I’m doing something that makes me happy and I’m not lying to anybody.”

*What is your definition of success?

What are you doing that makes you happy?

What is the last lie that you told?

Elle Fanning 1998

“I have a trainer when I’m in LA. He’s a boxer so I’ll box with him and do regular cardio. I used to do ballet and a bit of yoga… I think it’s important to mix up your workout. Don’t just do one thing, try a lot, and see what works for you.”

*Get with your trainer and circle one of the following –

boxing           ballet                yoga

Jesse McCartney 1987

“I don’t want another pretty face
I don’t want just anyone to hold
I don’t want my love to go to waste
I want you and your beautiful soul”

*Looks are fading. A beautiful soul lasts for eternity. Listen to Jesse McCartney for inspiration.

What makes someone have a beautiful soul?

Hugh Hefner 1926

He lived the life he wanted to live, inside a world that he built to his exacting specifications.

“I want the rest of my life to be very much like it is now.”

*Just think if Hugh Hefner would have settled on a job to make money instead of doing what he loves. When you get to the end of your life, do not have regrets. Long to live the last days of your life as you’ve lived most of your life. Wear pajamas all day today.

What is your biggest financial regret?

How would you like to spend the last days of your life?

Dennis Quaid 1954 = watch Far From Heaven

*Watch Quaid almost win a Golden Globe in Far From Heaven.

Sunny Anderson 1975 – Sunny’s Grilled Lamb Chops with a “No Cook” Orange Chutney

*Use Sunny’s recipe to make Hugh Hefner’s regular dinner.

BONUS – Leighton Meester 1986 – “For dinner I’ll maybe eat tacos or whatever I crave — and fudge mint cookies. I love them so much that we always joke, ‘Have you had your cookie today?’ Like it’s my vitamins.”

*Have you had your cookie today?

I was born in Northwestern Pennsylvania and lived in a trailer park. I was raised by very conservative and religious (Wesleyan Methodist) parents. By some miracle I graduated college and moved to Florida. I have been a public school teacher since 1995. I have 7 years until I can retire. I was married in 1999 and divorced in 2001. I remarried in 2017 to Kate - 21 years my junior. Some of my life experiences as a 46-year-old, white American male, will come through in my writing, but the majority of this daily journey will be dedicated to improving myself, and hopefully you as well.
