This year I wanted to get stronger. I think if I want to prolong my career and if I want to be here a long time I need to take care of my body and pay attention more to what I eat, get sleep, and make sure I work out every day.

Bob Saget 1956

Bob Saget’s net worth is $100 million. The star behind our buddy Danny Tanner is well-known for the polarity between his family-friendly TV roles and his so-very-NSFW stand-up act.

His role as the voice of future Ted Mosby in the wildly successful “How I Met Your Mother” was probably pretty generous to his bank account, as well.

*You may want to be a foul-mouthed comedian, but if being a family-friendly TV dad is going to get you $100 million… think about it. You can always do what you want after you’ve made your money.

William Seward 1801

Image result for william seward

To most people the name William Henry Seward brings to mind the Secretary of State under Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Johnson. It was during Johnson’s presidency that Seward negotiated the purchase of Alaska from Russia on March 30, 1867 for 7.2 million dollars. At the time this purchase was thought to be a waste of money and was given the nickname of “Seward’s Folly” or “Seward’s ice box”. (The cost was approximately 2 cents per acre). On Jan 3, 1959 Alaska became our 49th state. After Seward retired at the end of the Andrew Johnson administration, a neighbor in Auburn asked Seward what he considered his greatest achievement as Secretary of State. He replied, “The purchase of Alaska, but it will take the country a generation to appreciate it.”

*Do something that people will ridicule and not appreciate for a generation. Your legacy will have the last laugh. Make plans to travel to Alaska.

ADAM RICHMAN grew up in the food Mecca of New York City and began his love affair with food early on, sampling all of the diverse culinary specialties The Big Apple had to offer. From samosas to sushi, even at a young age, Adam had a desire to taste it all.

Its roast pork, extra sharp provolone and then it’s topped with broccolini. It’s just one of the most balanced sandwiches I’ve had. I mean, it’s three ingredients but it’s all about the individual quality of each and the quality of the preparation and the quality of the bread. It’s really how each ingredient works with the next. It’s an extraordinary, extraordinary sandwich.

Mark Zuckerberg 1931

He Dresses Simple

If you notice one thing about this young billionaire it is that he wears the same style of outfit every day. He wears the same gray t-shirt, jeans, and hoodie. His entire wardrobe probably costs less than $700, and it probably costs less than $200 a year to keep his wardrobe updated. Considering that the average American family spends around $1,700 a year on clothing, Zuckerberg definitely has the right idea on saving money.

*I know that just a few days ago I suggested to “dress for success” – this is true – until you’ve made it, then its jeans, t-shirts, and hoodies time.

Stephen Colbert 1964

Accept suffering? Learn to love loss and pain, even the loss of family? These are countercultural ideas. Clearly they have immense meaning for Colbert, and this acceptance has granted him great freedom. This makes sense from a religious point of view. After all, Jesus’ crucifixion is at the same time the most regrettable crime ever committed by humanity, and the source of our salvation. But Colbert’s words are still shocking. LOVE that tragedy? How is it possible?

*Accept suffering. Love pain. Show loss who is boss and grow as a person.

CROSSOVER – FOOD – whip up this Smoked Paprika and Oregano Breaded Blowfish

It won’t be like this for long.

In “It Won’t Be Like This For Long,” Rucker reminds us all of the importance of perseverance and courage. We’ve all hit rough patches in our lives, and maybe even lost our faith and hope. That’s why it’s so important to push through the hard times. Rucker says, “It won’t be like this for long. One day soon we’ll look back laughing.” Yes, it’s a basic reminder, but one that we sometimes so easily forget!

Rami Malek said he felt “incredibly insecure” the moment he put in the prop teeth designed to make him look like Freddie Mercury – and immediately realized how important the real teeth had been to the development of the Queen icon’s character.

Malek has been connected with Oscar rumors for his performance in Bohemian Rhapsody, which opens in theaters on Nov. 2. He previously revealed he’d had the prop teeth coated in gold and kept them as a memento, noting it was “probably the most ostentatious thing” he’d ever done, and that it was “in the spirit of Freddie.”
